Traders at the Gwarimpa Tipper Market in Abuja are currently counting their losses after a major fire broke out in the early hours of today, between 1 a.m. and 4 a.m., destroying goods worth millions of Naira. The fire caused significant damage, but the full extent is still being assessed by those affected.

The cause of the fire has not yet been determined. However, the news was shared by Abuja-based entrepreneur, Amb. Kingsley Amafibe, who revealed that his nearby estate was nearly impacted by the blaze.

Fortunately, firefighters were on the scene later in the morning and were able to extinguish the flames, though a considerable amount of property had already been lost.
